CityLight joins Franklin Graham of Samaritan's Purse in reaching children around the world with Christmas presents in a shoebox.
Is your heart is broken by the desperate plight of millions of children around the world. Whether they are refugees of civil War, survivors of a natural disaster, or victims of extreme poverty, these little one need to know they are precious to God.
That's the motivation behind Operation Christmas Child, the unique project of Samaritan's Purse that enables caring people to share God's love with hurting girls and boys in the far corners of the globe.
Take an ordinary shoebox, fill it with toys and other presents, and you have an extraordinary gift for a child in need of joy and hope. Most important the shoebox provides an opportunities for local believers to tell children about Jesus Christ, through Gospel literature and evangelism programs.

How to Pack a Shoe Box Gift
- Shoe Box -Use an empty shoe box (Standard size, please) or a small plastic container. You can wrap the box (lid separately), but wrapping not required.
- BOY OR GIRL- Determine whether your gift will be for a boy or
a girl, and the child's age category: 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14. Use the appropriate boy/girl label. Mark the correct age category on the label, and tape the )abel to the top of your box. If you need additional labels, make photocopies or download from our Web site.
- FILL WITH GIFTS - Fill the box with a variety of gifts that will bring
delight to a child.
- INCLUDE YOUR DONATION - Please donate $7 or more for each shoe box you prepare to help cover shipping and other project costs.* You can use the donation envelope or you can give online. If you or your family are preparing more than one shoe box, please make one combined donation.
- DROP OFF - Place a rubber band around each shoe box and
